Code the Future Program registration is free
Code the Future participants have to officially register to www.code-thefuture.com
Participants have to attend every learning session based on tracks chosen
Participants can access the certificate once finish the session (14 working days by the latest)
Sinergi Wahana Gemilang as the Distributor of IBM will not provide any kind of funding during the program and competition
Sinergi Wahana Gemilang as the Distributor of IBM only provide the Bob Coin for designated team progressing to Incubation Phase (Mentoring) and Legacy Code for Advanced Track

Beginner Track is open to active undergraduate students (Diploma/D3/D4/S1) enrolled in registered universities across Indonesia and non-IT/tech professionals.
Advanced Track is open to professional software developers, tech practitioners, and industry engineers.
Participant can join the competition as individual or team
Every team consists of a maximum of 5 people
All team members need to be registered on www.code-thefuture.com
All team members are encouraged to attend every learning sessions/pre-discussion proposal/mentoring
Permission letter for attending every learning sessions/pre-discussion proposal/mentoring is available by requesting through this email code-thefuture@fokustarget.com

Participants have to attend every learning session based on tracks chosen
Participants are encouraged to book Pre-Discussion Proposal based on availability schedule on the dashboard to refine their concept deck prior to final proposal submission

Teams must submit their initial proposals using the official template according to their registered track:
- Beginner Track: 5-slide concept deck covering Problem Identification, Solution Concept, Mechanics/Logic, IBM Bob Integration, and Impact.
- Advanced Track: 7-slide concept deck covering Business Opportunity/Modernization Strategy, Architecture Vision, IBM Bob Utilization, and Expected Improvements.

Shortlisted teams entering the Incubation Phase need to attend mentoring sessions based on the track chosen
Each team will be granted 500 Bob Coins for innovation development during mentoring sessions
The Bob Coin is non-transferable and will not be topped up

All teams progressing to the Incubation & Build Week stages MUST utilize IBM Bob as their primary AI development partner during ideation, architecture planning, and coding.
All development work for the prototype must be executed within the designated 3-Day Build Week window and will be tracked via repository that provided by SWG & IBM
Final Output Deliverables:
- Beginner Track: Playable/Working App Prototype, 3-Minute Video Demo/Walkthrough, Presentation Deck and Repository on GitHub/GitLab
- Advanced Track: Functional Solution, Before/After Comparison or Architecture Diagram, and Presentation Deck and Repository on GitHub/GitLab
Final Output need to be submitted on-time during mentioned dateline and reviewed by SWG & IBM team
Top 6 Teams (3 teams of Beginner & 3 teams of Advanced) will advance to live pitch at the IBM Bob Experience Day

Finalist teams must attend the Grand Finale Presentation in person at Experience Day (Jakarta) on 26 November 2026.
Finalists will have 7 minutes for Presentation & Demo, followed by Questions by Judges
The evaluation panel's decisions regarding scores, shortlisted teams, and ultimate champions are final, binding, and non-negotiable.
Sinergi Wahana Gemilang as the Distributor of IBM reserves the right to use team names, project media, demo videos, and photos for campaign publication, marketing, and promotional purposes without additional compensation.

Scope: Build interactive web mini-games, text-based RPG adventure games, gamified habit trackers, or educational AI games.
Specific Rule: Game mechanics, story branching, or prompt routing logic must be generated or optimized using IBM Bob.

Scope: Build social-connecting apps that match university students based on shared interests, project skill-sets, study groups, or campus events.
Specific Rule: Database schema generation and matching algorithm logic must be built using natural language prompts via IBM Bob.

Scope: Modernize, refactor, and optimize an official IBM-provided legacy application repository to improve code quality, performance, and maintainability.
Specific Rule: Code cleanup, technical debt reduction, and refactoring workflows must be executed using IBM Bob's automated capabilities.
Legacy Code will be provided as JavaScript and implemented on JavaScript as well

Scope: Build a production-ready enterprise solution, AI Agent, or SaaS tool that solves tangible business challenges and automates enterprise workflows.
Specific Rule: IBM Bob must be integrated across the end-to-end SDLC to accelerate product prototyping and workflow automation.

The Organizer reserves the right to amend, supplement, revise, clarify, or issue addenda to these Terms & Conditions at any time as deemed necessary.
Any amendments, addenda, updates, or clarifications will be communicated through the official Code the Future powered by IBM Bob communication channels and shall become effective upon publication.
Participants are responsible for reviewing and complying with the latest version of the Terms & Conditions throughout the program period.
